GHK-Cu is a copper tripeptide, one of the most studied peptides in the Skin and Hair category. One of the few peptides in our catalog with controlled human-trial data (topical forms).

What's studied

In cell culture, GHK-Cu stimulates fibroblast synthesis of type I collagen, elastin, proteoglycans, and glycosaminoglycans — an effect recorded within 48 hours at concentrations as low as 10 nM. The copper in the compound activates lysyl oxidase (involved in collagen cross-linking) and superoxide dismutase (antioxidant defense).

Clinical trial data

Randomized trials of topical GHK-Cu formulations recorded statistically significant improvement in skin density, collagen content, and photoaging scores over 8–12 weeks of use. This doesn't automatically carry over to other forms of application — confirm the form and intended use of a specific batch with the supplier.

Questions about GHK-Cu

How is GHK-Cu different from GLOW?

GHK-Cu is a standalone compound. GLOW in our catalog is a combination formula built on GHK-Cu, BPC-157, and TB-500, for protocols combining skin regeneration with tissue recovery.

Is there human research?

Yes — GHK-Cu is one of the few peptides in the category with randomized human-trial data on topical forms, unlike many compounds studied primarily in animal models.
